It was a blackbird/wren face off this morning with loads calling. It sounds like blackcap and chiffchaff are settled on territories and it is a second week for the mistle thrush.  2 wood pigeon 1 collared doves 3 magpie 5 blackbirds 3 robin 1 great tit 3 chiffchaff 2 blackcap 4 wren 1 mistle thrush

  A beautiful morning. Chiffchaff's are still singing well alongside a blackcap. Lots of blue and great tit activity. Bird of the day goes to the mistle thrush.   Birdwatch@RGS Friday 13 March Dodging the showers today but a really nice selection of birds. Bird of the week goes to the Green Woodpecker as spotted by Dan and Ed from the 4b corridor. They of course refer to it as  pito real ibérico.
