Dodging the showers today but a really nice selection of birds. Bird of the week goes to the Green Woodpecker as spotted by Dan and Ed from the 4b corridor. They of course refer to it as pito real ibérico. It brought out the wildlife photographer in Dan.

It was a blackbird/wren face off this morning with loads calling. It sounds like blackcap and chiffchaff are settled on territories and it is a second week for the mistle thrush.  2 wood pigeon 1 collared doves 3 magpie 5 blackbirds 3 robin 1 great tit 3 chiffchaff 2 blackcap 4 wren 1 mistle thrush
