It was a blackbird/wren face off this morning with loads calling. It sounds like blackcap and chiffchaff are settled on territories and it is a second week for the mistle thrush.  2 wood pigeon 1 collared doves 3 magpie 5 blackbirds 3 robin 1 great tit 3 chiffchaff 2 blackcap 4 wren 1 mistle thrush

  A beautiful morning. Chiffchaff's are still singing well alongside a blackcap. Lots of blue and great tit activity. Bird of the day goes to the mistle thrush. These used to be frequent visitors to the school site but have declined over the past two years. 4 wood pigeon 2 collared doves 6 magpie 6 blackbirds 4 robin 3 blue tit 4 great tit 2 chiffchaff 1 blackcap 4 wren 1 mistle thrush
